Differentiate between iatrogenic, foundational and transient occlusal disorders. • Utilize diagnostic imaging, clinical evaluation and history-taking to aid in the diagnosis of temporomandibular joint or sleep disorders. • Identify whether airways and/or skeletal patterns play a role in the diagnosis and treatment of occlusal disease. • Determine the etiology and appropriate treatment for individual patients with occlusal symptoms/disease, and establish the sequence of care.
